prompts 1-4

1“I just think it's important to be direct and honest with people about why you're photographing them and what you're doing. After all, you are taking some of their soul.” ~Mary Ellen Mark

My thoughts about it is that taking a picture of someone else gives a part of there life because its part of something that they do to continue life.

2“My portraits are more about me than they are about the people I photograph.” ~Richard Avedon.

Like its more of the life time the photographer has to go through then the person in it

3 “You don't take a photograph, you make it.” ~Ansel Adams

you make you want to show and explain the story in your own way  to form a story

4 “All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget. In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings. Paintings record what the painter remembers. Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it.” ~John Berger

Photography is a memory that later on you can remember by just looking at an image of a person even if they are dead or alive .
